Philleaus Fogg, a well known gentleman places a bet of that he can make a trip around the world in eighty days, and is taken up on the offer. He and his faithful servant, Passpourtout, embark on their journey immediatly. The same day the bank is robbed, and Detective Fix thinks that Fogg is his man. Along the route there are many delays, and Fogg even has to save an Indian Princess from a fiery death. All the way Fix follows and waits for the warrent to be issued for Foggs arrest.
